Hi folks,
I have a domain which was used for a project that is finished. Three years ago, it was very important, and was linked by newspapers, magazines, even at Microsoft MSDN.
But now, it has no visits and only 6 backlinks recongnized by Google (203 at Yahoo), but it still has PR5 (even in this last update).
As the project is finished and I'm going to take the website out, I'd like to implement a 301 redirect to a new website I'm working in, to transfer the TrustRank and the PR5.
The new website is not about the same things as the old one, is other thematic. Although nowdays is empy and PR0, it's been registered since 2002 and has had PR4.
Is it convenient to implement this 301 redirect? Will be I successful in transfering the PR and the TrustRank I had?
Any other suggestion?
Thanks!!!
