So I get an offer on SEDO for one of my .tv names for $3000.00. I counter offer with $25,000.00 and a message saying I don't really want to sell this name since it is part of a niche that I have a nice hold of.
Today I got the standard emails from SEDO telling me the buyer has agreed to my price of $25,000.00 and we are locked into a binding agreement.
So first off, until SEDO gets the money I will not count this as a sale and won't reveal the name and it is possible that the buyer will flake out, which honestly I hope he does since I really like the name and feel it will be worth more in a few years. So no congratulations yet please.
But the one good thing we can look forward to if the sale goes through is that it will look mighty nice on DNJournal and hopefuly bring some press or more awareness to our wonderful extension.
Yes it was a premium. Yes it was only a $250/renewal. Yes my investment was only $150.00/year for the first 2 years in that Golden Age of 70% discounts.
I think it will be the highest .tv sale of 2008 and hope someone will beat it the week after.
Go .tv!
