In the past, new domains didn't exist and choosing the right domain name was...simple.
With new gTLDs, those not familiar with spending enough time to hunt for the right domain name will probably want to read this before they got for a ... ".com".
With new gTLDs, we face a new problem: some extensions are available in singular and in plural but also, some can be very similar one to the other.
I wrote an article about this for those interested. I suggest to check the list I created about similar new gTLDs.
