Hi members,
I just received an email from google about my domain names parked with 1Plus. It says as follows:
Hello,
While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies. For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as http://www.danangspas.com.
As stated in our program policies, publishers are not permitted to modify the AdSense for search code in any manner. For instance, publishers may not pre-populate the search boxes with specific queries, suggest terms for search, or "hot-link" directly to results pages.
As a result, we have disabled ad serving to the site.
Your AdSense account remains active. However, we strongly suggest that you take the time to review our program policies (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies ) to ensure that all of your remaining pages are in compliance.
Please note that we may disable your account if further violations are found in the future.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team
I checked my accounts and they do show the site keyword already pre-entered in the search box for my domains on 1Plus.
First, how do I make sure the term is not pre-entered in the search box (I definitely did not change google's code).
Second, how and when did it start. I recently activated the
"Adsense for Search" in my URL channels in my adsense account. Could that be the reason? If so, why do they have that function anyways. To be safe, I deactivated it, but I don't think it is the reason.
tks in advance
TP
OK, after original post. The pre-poluatation of the search box is now gone. I assume it is from my deactivating the "adsense for search" for all my url channels.
But i would still like to know why it occured. Tks.
