Advertising Frustration

I have a website; I’ve only recently started building it, and will be relying on advertising for all the income, as of now.

But what type of advertising should I use for this type of site? It isn’t like a highly advertised niche.(loans travel) So should I use Adwords, or will I not get anything from them?

I need help on advertising it’s not my cup of tea… quite frankly I’m not even a fan of tea

There are several advertising methods you can use:
1) Blog commenting. Find blogs for your niche and leave comments on them.
2) Social bookmarking: try using piqqus.com to gather digg/stumble points to advertise your site. PM me if you want more info on that
3) Forums: put it in your signature and rave around forums
4) Hire forum posters for your forum. They'll start up the conversation for serps to crawl
5) write useful content on blog to get serp traffic
