advice Buying domains before renewal, do I have to pay for another year?

Hi, I am new here and have bought a few domains. Most of them have 6m plus on the renewal, do I have to pay an extra year when I take ownership? I have transferred most to namesilo and have had to pay for an extra year. Is it better to push to another account with the same provider? Thanks.

Buying domain from someone - What is renewal fee?

If I purchase a domain from another person and not directly through a registrar, how much is the renewal fee? Is it the standard for that TLD at MY registrar? Is it based off of the seller's registrar? For example, my preferred registrar is Namecheap. Let's say I buy a whatever.com from...

How to find the lowest prices on domain names

Compare registrar pricing on domain names. When you own hundreds, thousands or more domain names, registration and renewal prices matter. While .com prices don’t vary much from registrar to registrar, prices on new TLDs and country code domains can be priced orders of magnitude higher from one...

new gtlds Renewals... Do Registrars have place to give better prices?

Time has come to start renewing some new gTLD's. I am wondering if the Registrars have room to offer better renewal prices? From what I see there is quite a difference between Registrars in registration prices. Not sure as far as renewals/transfers. Any point in approaching the Registries...
