tips What BIN prices work the best for you?

There has been discussions on various BIN prices with the general accepted "sweet spot" around $2000-$3000. I'm just curious if anyone has set BIN prices for their different tier domains, and if a certain number i.e. $3488 seems to get more purchases? What are your BIN prices for Bargains...

question First an offer, then a buy minutes later. What to do ?

Got an offer for a .org domain early this morning on Uniregistry. However a few minutes later it shows the buyer clicked the buy now. So I got the offer email and an option to accept or counter I guess but it also shows the domain buyer was sent a checkout link. Do I respond to any of this or...

discuss How does $59/69 BIN strategy mentioned by James Morfopoulos in recent DNW podcast work?

In a recent DNW podcast with Richard Lau and James Morfopoulos, James talked about how they move lower priced domains for fast turnover. He said, "A really good strategy is that you can list them on Afternic but at a very low price which will kick them into Godaddy Auction at a low price...

poll Do you make offers on domain names?

There is a lot of talk lately about price upon request vs make an offer vs BIN w/ make offer vs BIN w/o make offer. I really want to know what you guys do as buyers, not what you use on your domains.

Hello, I'd like to ask for everyone’s opinion regarding the following situation. Yesterday, I've received an offer for one of my domains at DAN.com. It had the BIN price set, yet the inquirer has chosen to submit an offer a bit below it. Before replying to that offer, I've looked a bit as...

A suggestion for all domain marketplaces

There is an offer and it is "binding", at least the buyer thinks that way and he is motivated. I receive an offer for 1K. but I prefer to sell it for 2K, and I think it can even sell for more, but I would take 1K if it was actually the highest offer. So here is the suggestion. Let me add 2K BIN...

discuss BIN price everywhere may lead to account ban/suspension

So I’m having an issue that I’d like to share and hear some thoughts. I have the majority of my domains listed at fixed BIN on Afternic, Sedo, Uni, Dan, and my website. For Afternic, Sedo and Uni I add 10% markup to compensate for additional fees (I used to add 20-25% but I reduced recently to...
