opening game was down. Rating are mixed since.
I literally just addressed that in my last post, see consumption. Also:
"But the early numbers for the season opener don't tell the whole story. Lightning in Philadelphia delayed the game by 45 minutes, with kick off starting at 9:05 pm EST. The game ended at midnight on the East Coast. It was a lackluster match-up with the Eagles trailing at 6 to 3 at halftime."
Viewers appeared to tune in early with numbers peaking late in the first quarter at 9:30 to 9:45 pm EST.
Despite the chatter around the NFL's flagging ratings, the games are still the biggest ratings draw on TV. The numbers for Thursday's game doubled the combined prime time averages of ABC, CBS and Fox. It also has the biggest rating for any sporting event since the 2018 Winter Olympics."

As far as Kavanaugh, you reap what you sow. With the shenanigans you guys pulled with Obama's pick.

lol, just saw this, since you added it later:
Interesting for the future of the NFL. My 6' 2", 220 LB 16 year old grandson, was invited to join the varsity team and refused. Has been playing football / wrestling for since he was 10.
Are you serious? Because your grandson refused to play Varsity, this spells doom for the NFL? haha. There are less kids playing football but not because of Kap, but because of brain injury, concussions. Still no shortage of people that are going to play football. I've said it myself in some other thread, about 10 years from now, the U.S. should start to dominate other sports as more that would usually play football, or going into other sports.

As far as Nike, their stock high is 83 something, it's 83 something today.
