Alright now hear me out. I know domaining is a big business and I can't play with the big fish but I can cheat a little bit.
So, to start off, earning $1k+ profit monthly consistently would be considered an achievement by me. I would start being serious if I could achieve that. I know domaining is a numbers game and the only point is to earn more than I spend and I would need to spend a lot.
I want to know if I should even consider domaining if I don't have a lot of money to spend. What I've learned so far would suggest that no, it's pretty much impossible but here is what I've come up with:
So, as I've heard, the most efficient way (I think) of selling domains is to do outbound by email. Domainers don't want to buy domains unless they are a bargain and I don't intend to sell for a bargain. I want to sell to end users. Now I've read and studied a bit how people do their outbound. Insert domain-related keywords, find businesses with an inferior name etc etc. I get that but even then, I don't think I could get a response rate that I would need to keep earning consistently.
So, I am able to automate the outbound process. I am able to scrape emails by keywords and send mails automatically to those scraped domains. I would not need to search for them, I would just bulk send emails automatically to spare me the trouble, effort and time to do proper outbound. I don't know if I should do this, however.
Spam is illegal but all of you guys do cold emailing which is technically also spam and illegal so there shouldn't be a difference. If anyone could give me some input on that, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm learning and reading up on that a lot.
Anyways, your most honest answer - should I even consider domaining? It's the first ''online money making'' thing I took up but I failed. I was naive and I thought I could sell hand-regged domains.
I've been earning some money from internet marketing, selling services etc. but I want to retry domaining. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
