Anderson Cooper tells President Trump to stop tweeting! That’s the way the out of touch swamp elites think - they’ll tell him when and where he’s allowed to talk. A guy with a losing last place show giving a President tips on how to succeed. #MAGA #FakeNews

I don't remember anyone telling Obama to stop using his blueberry...

Quiet, Robert Mueller is about to speak......

Mueller: 'If we had confidence that the president had clearly not committed a crime, we would have said so'

Special counsel Robert Mueller issued his first public statement on his investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 election, emphasizing one of the key points of his report: that his office did not conclude whether or not President Trump committed a crime.

In his statement, Mueller said his office could not bring criminal charges against the president because they believed it to be unconstitutional.

“If we had confidence that the president had clearly not committed a crime we would have said so,” said Mueller, adding, “Charging the president with a crime is not an option we could consider.”

"It would be unfair to potentially accuse somebody of a crime when there can be no court resolution of the actual charge,” said Mueller further explaining the reasoning.

Mueller announced that he was officially resigning from the Department of Justice and returning to private life. He said this was his final statement on the matter, and any testimony he might give to Congress would not go beyond what was in the report.

Mueller has been asked to appear by the House Judiciary Committee but he hasn’t said if he will. He said no one — presumably referring to officials in the Justice Department or the administration — has instructed him one way or the other on his appearance.

Mueller did not take questions from the assembled reporters after the ten-minute statement.

The special counsel’s report concluded that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 election “in sweeping and systematic fashion,” leading to the indictment of 34 individuals and three Russian businesses on charges ranging from computer hacking to conspiracy and financial crimes. Those indictments led to seven guilty pleas. Four people, including the former Trump campaign chairman, were sentenced to prison.

A redacted version of Mueller’s 448-page report, released last month, found no conspiracy between Russia and Trump’s campaign. But it chronicled at least 10 episodes of efforts by Trump to obstruct the federal probe. And while the special counsel declined to charge Trump with obstruction of justice, investigators explicitly refused to exonerate the president despite his repeated public comments to the contrary.

“If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state,” the report read. “We are unable to reach that judgment. The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

The findings have spurred calls by some Democrats, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Republican Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan to pursue Trump’s impeachment. But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has urged caution, saying she wants to see Mueller’s full unredacted report and hear testimony from current and former members of the Trump administration before considering it.

The special counsel team has been attacked by Trump as a group of angry Democrats, but Mueller is a Republican who was appointed to head the FBI by President George W. Bush.

In a nutshell.....Trump committed a Crime and more likely...Multiple Crimes.
Mueller is Clearly telling Congress to go after this Traitor and Nail his Ass!

That was in the report. :). No collusion / conspiracy but possible obstruction.. for a crime that didn't happen.

There logic is eventually, transwomen will have sex changes before they develop large bones and muscles. I expect a generation of scared adults blaming their parents, teachers, social workers for not protecting them from the fascist gay lobby.

I agree completely. We don't want to foster an environment where ability, sacrifice and hard work lead to success, imagine the effect this could have on the victim hood narrative.

Friggen Asians, working hard going to school, we really need to get them under control. If we let this keep going, they might end up as productive members of society.

So.... if you can't prove that you have not committed any crime, we should arrest you and throw you in prison, as well? Or does that only apply to Republicans?

I would like to know what the ground rules are for this fascist state you aspire to.

Yep. Racism against Asians is perfectly OK, because they are fully functioning members of society who take care of themselves and find independent success. Can't have that.

That same racism was one reason why I blocked a certain member here.

Yea, as I recall in the center of I think on a rotunda off the Gran Via Madrid a huge vinyl banner strewn across a building stated that exactly.

I was off on the exact banner rotunda location, but recall the sign and found this article. Evidently they relocated them 70km outside of town. Madrid was reasonably clean, every early AM street sweepers out. As a big city, I would much rather be there in downtown living than NYC, SF, LA or Miami any day.

https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/china-gears-weaponize-rare-earths-002041977.html

The US gets 80% of its rare earths from China. Big mistake that should have been corrected years ago. I think it was about 10 years ago that China did the same to Japan, prompting the Japanese to become less reliant on China for rare earths.

On top of that, the only reason China dominates the market is because of lax or non-existent safety and environmental regulations on mining - enabling cheap prices.

My wife was attacked and robbed by 2 migrants who were simply seeking a better life in Madrid. In the middle of the day on a busy boulevard in one of the nicest parts of town. The Spanish guy manning a kiosk nearby didn't lift a finger to help. The Japanese embassy told us that Japanese tourists were getting robbed like this almost daily.

Somehow Spain still has the reputation of being a safe place to visit. Perhaps more migrants will solve that problem.

I have been following this for a few days, Bushes, Clinton, Obama globalists interdependance stupidity.

“But China’s control of rare-earth processing, as well as its dominant position in other critical minerals like cobalt (used in batteries), gives it potentially even greater leverage than those countries enjoyed in the past. The one mine in the United States producing rare-earth minerals is itself reliant on China for processing the material it pulls from the ground into usable end products.

If China were to take the drastic step of banning or limiting exports of rare-earth elements and advanced materials, there’s not a whole lot the United States could do in the short term. For some imports, especially for permanent magnets, there are alternative suppliers in Australia. But even they face challenges to keep doing business and could lose their ability to process the raw materials so needed by the U.S. economy.”

The US likes to outsource dirty jobs like with processing it. We used to ship containers of “breakage” used computer crap to Taiwan, now it goes elsewhere.

Yeah, they get targeted as Asians with money. Thats bad. You didnt say if she was alone or in a group. Just about all Japanese and Chinese I saw on my extended venturing in the EU they were in large tour groups and dressing in expensive classy and over the top flashy clothes, Gucci purses, jewelry, etc. The status thing culturally might work at Disneyworld or on tour buses or groups, but alone not a good idea. I never travel in groups, but always have dressed like a slob on purpose and still do since I travel in rough areas, so to deflect most “I’m a foreigner or tourist” attention, until I open my mouth and give away my nationality.

The kiosk guy has to deal with those people daily, so it doesnt surprise me otherwise his involvement would cause him future problems with the criminals. Depends on the country, I have seen small incidents where thieves are spotted and a ad-hoc bunch of locals go chase after them and beat them up too. Recall one like that chase in Barcelona on Las Ramblas where all the crowds of tourists are.

None of that excuses or minimizes the situation, not sure if it applies either, it sucks to get robbed especially on vacation. Sorry she had that happen.

Spain has over 1.5 million illegals (mostly Morrocan and other parts of Africa) They usually go to big cities and tourist areas, where so many dedicate their time to robbing unsuspecting tourists.

If these criminals were caught and sent back to their sh*t holes in Africa right away, things would change, but the EU Human Rights Court are always on their side, claiming that they (the illegals) cannot be sent back because of their Human Rights!!!

Can you believe this? How about the human rights of those Native Europeans that get assaulted, robbed, raped and sometimes killed?

"When a subject of an investigation obstructs that investigation or lies to investigators, it strikes at the core of their government’s effort to find the truth and hold wrongdoers accountable."

And while the POTUS-relevant parts of the statement are getting the most attention, this...

"there were multiple, systematic efforts to interfere in our election. And that allegation deserves the attention of every American."

Cannot be overlooked.
