Interesting how the deep state has manipulated Trump. Bolton the warmonger ends up pushing towards war with Russia - exactly what the Democrats want. And yet he is still "Putin's puppet," right?

So far as kicking in the door and the whole rotten structure tumbling, that's a well established historical perspective. Countries rot from the inside, yet appear fine until the door is kicked in.

That applies to the USA as well.

In 1995, he blamed ‘secular’ government for everything from rising crime to STDs and called for subsidizing religious schools to turn back ‘assault’ on ‘traditional values.’

Problem is
1) By design, we have a secular government, not a catholic one. We have a separation on church and state.
2) Not everyone in this country is catholic. Or christian. Or religious. The founders, regardless of their personal brliefs, saw the kind of harm a religion based government could do and wanted to steer clear of that.

3) He’s advocating Some serious government interference in peoples’ lives, going as far as to suggest rolling back the clock on divorce law.

Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath when they become doctors, which includes:

“I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures [that] are required ..”

“I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.”

And

“I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.”

This rule caters to evangelical bigots who aren’t fit to be doctors in the first place - people who live to serve themselves and have a fundamental lack of understanding of what it means to serve others. It’s a loophole for discrimination.

I have serious reservation about the Catholic religion as a political power but the bill of rights and constitution are providential, acknowledging our creator who, every signer understood to be the God of Abraham.

Our founders were careful to avoid a state endorsed religion because of their experience with the Catholic church. Instead chose to limit the Gov's power over the Free Exercise of religion. Very first amendment.

Post modern liberals read like to stop reading after "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". They certainly didn't plan to exclude religion. The first official school book had the 10 commandments.

Listen to you. Calling people bigots because they refuse to compromise their own conscience regarding the value of life.

The difference between you and doctors who refuse to provide abortions is the understanding that a successful procedure will end the life of a human. They are taking their oath and conscience seriously.

How do you go from being told "no, I can't do that", to characterizing millions of people as bigots. Why do people forget that "human rights" are for everyone.

Why does the interviewer ask questions and then keeps constantly interrupting Barr as he answers? What's the point in doing that?

CNBC – The U.S. jobs machine kept humming along in April, adding a robust 263,000 new hires while the unemployment rate fell to 3.6%, the lowest in a generation, according to a Labor Department report Friday.

Nonfarm payroll growth easily beat Wall Street expectations of 190,000 and a 3.8% jobless rate.

Unemployment was last this low in December 1969 when it hit 3.5%.

Why should we care about social media like Facebook, Instagram and Youtube, from banning certain people or groups, who suspiciously seem to be politically conservative? Because banning of these people and groups plays to the leftists who proclaime free speech, but do everything in their power to squelch free speech they simply don't agree with. The social media is simply an adjunct arm of the DimWit Party trying to control the political narrative by shuting out all opposing political voices. Once again, it is all about leftist control of 'thought'. Don't allow opposing thoughts and people can no longer weigh the arguments effectively with only one side being projected in social media. The Left fears the truth more than anything, and that is why we are seeing the leftists social media reacting so forcefully in trying to shutdown opposing political view points.

And the usual response from the left is "it's their right as private companies." One of the few times they actually care about rights. Legally, they are within their rights. But legal and moral are two different things. Stalin acted within the law. So did Hitler. Legality is simply what the government allows.

Something needs to be done, but I doubt more laws are the answer. They always end up distorting the system and benefitting a few.

These media companies are digging their own graves. Decentralized blockchain solutions are being developed now. The problem is, most people don't see why they need decentralization when Google and Facebook give them everything for free. Most people don't understand the dangers of the loss of privacy either.

But when the voices of people they want to hear are silenced, or their own voices are silenced, they will look for alternatives. Once those alternatives arise, Facebook and Twitter will go the MySpace route and die.
