This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It was not an auction, it was an offer/counter offer with NO buy it now. I actually was going to List it as a super premier Auction on Flippa, but that costs $350, and I was worried that if I sold it for $800 or $900, by the time I took out my expense, I would be where I am now. I still think I would have got higher offers on this eventually, but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush
Yeah bro,I get the same feeling regarding Flippa premium listing......
And thanks for the info mate, I would also try offer/counter offer method in Godaddy from now on.......

Great job.. Drapeau which sounds like drapo means "flag" in French also besides the obvious English brandability :)

You can share names but not prices I believe.

Although once you've shared the prices, that would make it difficult to then share the names.

Usually people just share the names, and everybody knows it will be a $$$$ sale because that's the minimum it would be and most sales on there fall within that range.

perhaps sharing the name with the extension following?

c-u-u-r-e dot com without hyphen for $795 - received 771 after paypal fees.
Was contacted first by buyer few months back and email went to spam or unnoticed, when I found email, I sent him reply with my price of 2195 - he countered at 500 and I countered at 795.

Could have fetched more but was in a good mood and guy wanted to use it for a genuine project - so closed the deal.

Was very happy that I pushed the domain first to his account without waiting for the money and was really surprised. Sent a full payment via paypal same day and thanked me a lot.

Congrats. How many names do you have on BB?

@tomcarl , currently in BrandBucket I have 55 names and 26 are pending approval. Some of the most expensive names that I have listed are shared with a friend of mine (@kevinf) in my account and his account.

Guys, I prefer to PM you the names, as I am not 100% sure if I can share them and I'd like to be on the safe side.

Two of the names were hand registrations (GoDaddy DDC) and one was a Pheenix drop ($18.5).

imo

if they were at somewhere that lists its sales, it is ok to tell the price and the domain name
but if they were not, then you can just tell the range ( low xxxx) with domain name

I'm not going to disclose the actual domain just yet due to some agreements between the buyer and myself. But will say I just sold a .BID domain for just under $1000 to an end user who contacted me the other day.

Alright,

Had my biggest sale this week. ever since i started buying domains 9-10 months back.

Picked a name for $17 In December, and sold it off for $8.5k.
Negotiating another deal for $10k (This would be my 1st 5 fig.)

Can't reveal neither the name nor the niche (Sorry about that).

The best part is I approached the end users in both cases.

Thankful to the community.
