I can’t do Godaddy anymore. They are making it very difficult to navigate and for potential buyers to contact me.

Where is the best place to relocate? I like Name and Dynadot but it’s hard to trust any entity with 500 plus domains.

Thoughts?

At Dynadot, most people can't contact you. Some people (agents/domainers) know how to contact owner (and I don't)
Dynadot does a great job with their "privacy off" email visibility. No contact form or other steps are required to see the email contact information.

With Dynadot "privacy on," I tested whether indeed the emails were forwarded to the registrant. They did, within a matter of minutes. That's nice, having both options, to accommodate the personal preference of the registrant.

I've personally moved a majority of my domains to Dynadot and have been very happy thus far. The fact they have great support and allow for hardware security tokens, I'm a happy camper.

My ONLY complaint is the pesky nightly updates they perform.

Godaddy is dog water. Slow clunky expensive use Dynadot

I was moving all my domains from @namecheap (not the cheapest) @namesilo (incompetent customer service) to @InternetBS because the latter charges in different currencies and the renewals were the same as the purchase, which I needed both as a reseller. Today they announced a price increase and that renewals are a different price to initial purchase :xf.frown:. Not impressed.

So are you about to become a Dynadot fan as well?!
Namecheap, incidentally, I think is great for the "super sales." Their "Black Friday" and other intermittent specials are very nice.

Dynadot, IMO, does have an easier interface for quick management of multiple domains. It is nice to have a registrar that can also use Sedo MLS or Afternic FT.

Good luck finding a new home for the domains!

No, not yet. InternetBS is stil cheaper. There is now a new tier structure with a discount for over 100 names. So if I include that, it costs AU$14.71 to register (dynadot is $18.75) and renewal is AU$16.55 (dynadot is $17.75).

I like Dynadot. Never had an issue with them. Support responds even over the weekend. Has email customer support.

I'm using godaddy since 2001
Dynadot since 2009
Moved everything to Dynadot as main domain registrar for my domain portfolio.
What also great for big Size domain portfolio in Dynadot, that you can create folders, names them, and easily to use off/on. the privacy whois.
Accouny Security is perfect too, when you are using passwd, authentication, mobile sms, to login, and still do more birthday verification + mobile authentication before unlock domains to push or transfer-out.
Customer service in Dynadot, very professional, and the online chat guides, doing well.

I’ve always liked Dynadot and their HQ is in the US which is a plus. I’m going to move my domains there.

@Dynadot I am heading your way!

Dynadot from me too. I do have / had domains with about everybody out there.

Now, I'm looking to consolidate most of my domains back at Dynadot.

How many times has Dynadot been mentioned in this thread... ?

Dynadot is the best, but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, so I use Namecheap and Sav as well.

I've been with Dynadot for 10 years or so. Don't have 500 there, but never had an issue with them. And you don't have to join a 'discount club' to get their low reg fees, currently 9.83.
AT GODADDY WITH DISCOUNT CLUB .ORG RENEWALS 20 BUCKS WTF

Can't go wrong with Porkbun or Dynadot

Godaddy can suck an egg (IMO)

I am glad this topic came up. I was always a loyal GoDaddy user, but the pricing is just insane anymore. I had never used Dynadot until a year or so ago when I had a few domains sent there from ebay purchases. I must say, I am impressed and it really is my true favorite. I have been moving my stuff from other registrars to them.

I have most of my domains at Dynadot. They do seem to be the most stable. There are definitely some features I wish were different. For instance, it takes too many clicks to approve Sedo/Afternic. Other registrars allow me to accept Sedo or Afternic with a click through e-mail...but those registrars have more things wrong with them than Dynadot so that's a big part of why Dynadot has more than half of my domains.

I had all my domains with Uniregistry but it's gone so I've moved all my 8,500+ domains to Dynadot which is overall a good registrar. I would recommend this.

I have moved over 500 domains to Dynadot since Jan 2023. I have had an account with them since 2009 or 2010 I can't remember exactly. I'll be moving another 1300++ domains to Dynadot.

User interface is easy. I like the summary page where you can basically see what is going on. Only thing I don't like about them is they charge $10 late renewal fee if your domain is expired beyond 20 days or so which is kinda ridiculous since no other registrar charges that fee.

I am also looking to give Spaceship.com a try. Their prices seem good and hopefully a lot more is coming soon. Spaceship.com is owned by Namecheap so that is a big plus.

I use namecheap, I don't use their DNS because the interaction process is too cumbersome, but they have absolutely NO.1 customer support and feel safe and secure.
