It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Maybe it would be better if the investors take over the company and hire a good manager to revive the company.
I don't think they would do that. Epik name is dirt and there is no value. maybe off properties they bought and liquidate all.

I'm still listing dropping names there.

There isn't a better place. 😕

Typically I generate a lot of sales on NameLiquidate. Last 2 months have been extremely slow.

I didn't understand why until I started talking to other domain investors about Epik and saw this thread.

It's very frustrating as NL is truly a great and revolutionary concept. I've made a lot of money back on domains I would have gotten Zero for before.

I have never withdrawn Masterbucks money though. Only used for renewals.
Well, I may be heading over there to look for some domains to buy. I still have about $600 in credit at Epik after I spent thousands on renewals a few months ago. Seems like I better turn it into domains before E goes belly-up. I'm also going to turn privacy off so my ownership is easy to prove if that happens. I shall be bracing for the influx of spam calls from India offering me their esteemed services to build a website for my domain. ☹️

With the knowledge that Epik has many existing payouts that they are unable or unwilling to make, this type of post is shameful.

Unbelievable. Isn't he a member here? I don't understand how people can be so brainwashed they're happy to drive their own proffesional credibility into the ground for others (unless he has a stake in E). It's like a cult over there.

Yes. He has an Epik.com staff badge on NamePros.

He is also an admin on Epik's own forum, as well as being listed as an "Epik Brand Ambassador" there.

He posted in a thread about Masterbucks issues on their forum, so he is well aware of the issues.

That is why this is especially shameful.

Do not judge lest you be judged

At the end of the day, these guys are trying to put food on the table.

The security was handled by the adequate amount of prayers, as documented. It just did not work out.

Ahh ok well then part of me understands why he would be so diehard being as his job may well be on the line. However, to bait new customers as a cult member is one thing but to bait them as an employee is probably a crime. As has been said in this thread already, taking in new money when you know you can't pay it back out is opening a whole can of legal worms.

The keyword he uses in his sentence "everyone will get paid I believe" is "BELIEVE", so he is not sure in other words. He does not say: "everyone will get paid." period.

Big difference in wording, consciously or not.

Epik has stopped offering forever domains

Epik has stopped offering forever domains
What about the clients who already "bought" these "forever domains" before?

Forever does not seem forever, it is always better to renew your own domains for 10 years, because Epik or any other company who offers that may not exist in the future.

I see, it's gone, and that's fine. Epik made the right decision. The "Forever" registration was mostly targeted at retail users, btw. See here and followup posts.

Support confirmed existing forever domains will keep its status

I did like the concept of forever renewals. However, not the best decision considering current circumstances

I will mention I had no problems listing my domains on NameLiquidate last week. No mention of Masterbucks issues - wasn't until I came here that I realized they might be having payout problems...

Transferring out more domains.

Was going to wait until a transfer deal but seeing more and more complaints about funds being locked... makes me more concerned. 🙁

Anyone noticed Epik takes longer to update DNS and Nameservers now? Also seems like transfers are much slower.

Maybe @jmcc could show us how many domains are getting transferred out of Epik?

Transfered out more to Dynadot this morning.

Would be helpful if a few of my names could sell so I can transfer out more. 🙏🏽

Or perhaps @Dynadot can offer a transfer discount? 😊

Is there anywhere else as effective for listing dropping names??

No, that's the problem. 😐
Hi

have posted this in the past:

fabulous.com has the option for you to send your expiring domains to namejet listings.
a few of mine have sold over the years and i received a percentage from the sales.

other registrars like dynadot, namecheap, etc, may have similar options on their platforms.

imo....

What makes NameLiquidate unique is that you can list dropping domains from any registrar.

You need the domain to be unlocked and provide a validate EPP/Auth Code.

Hi

having your domain unlocked at any registrar, is a risk
particularly if/when that domain is listed for sale on a marketplace.

imo...

Will have to try another at some point!

Will Epik find the strength to pay next week?
There is no longer the slightest excuse to delay payments.
