discuss .AL Extension

It seems today there has been more auctions for .AL domains than I have seen in my entire time on NamePros. Any particular reason? What are your opinions on the extension?

This is bull. I have been sitting here for the past 3 nights getting ready for these names to drop even having the expired page open 24/7. I was going to backorder a couple of them this morning and they disappeared. This is a way to run off your customers. Really pis*ed.

Well, if it had played out the way it was supposed to, backordering would have worked and I would have caught a couple of those. But instead, a user decided to let you go on and delete them and sell them? Where is that button in my account because I don't see it?

Received 2 low-ball offers ($200 & $100) for two separate domains - one on sedo, one with the bodis system.
No sale yet.

Yes, on Friday I mailed a company. They use the long version of a domain I have.
Long version short:
Now waiting for a reply with an offer. They already replied that they're interested.

I am actually puzzled why you guys here are having issues selling 2L to end users. They're quite easy to sell.

I am also puzzled that the price dropped here on NP auctions for 2L.AL. I'm not putting any .AL here on auction soon. I'll only leave the auction finish for the ones I have listed... and maybe cry about them a little when they're gone considering the price the auction is running at now - I would have expected at least $300 by now for 3G • AL but... that's life.

UXela, I love my .al domains. I hope to hold them while I seek out appropriate buyers. I have a couple of .al that I already have end users in mind. Anyway, NP is a forum full of other domainers. You won't get end user prices here usually.

can i ask how many you sold to end users?

I am of the opinion that it will be a bit difficult to find end users in Albania for 2L.al that don't have any meaning in Albanian language. I think there are more possibilities with 3L.al . There are some websites wich do developing websites, and there you can understand what kind of domains do mostly the endusers use.

Just do some researches, and maybe we can all exchange some ideas.

I am using .al as a hack and an upgrade domain.

For example, I own RX.AL. One of my potential end users is a company called Rexall. Rexall is a large international corporation originally based in California. They currently use Rexall.ca. I am going to try to sell them RX.AL. I think it would be perfect for them. I hope they will agree.

I have several other LL.al domains which I will be trying to sell to end users.
