How Do You Spend Your Domaining Income?

Do you reinvest your entire income from domain names? Do you have a specific strategy for how much of your income you should be spending per month? This discussion asks how you spend your income earned from domain names, and as you'd expect, there are a number of varied responses. Renewals, taxes, and bills seem to be popular.

Which Registrar Do You Use and Why?

This question from @demaxxus is aimed at those investors who own between 100 and 5,000 domain names. For investors with large domain portfolios, is it a question of finding the registrar with the lowest renewal fees, or do factors such as ease of use come into consideration?

A number of registrars such as GoDaddy, Uniregistry, and Dynadot all seem to be popular choices among investors.

A Negative Response From an End-User

This week, a community member reached out to a business owner to sell a domain name for a three-figure fee. Instead of finding a response with an offer, they received an email claiming that small businesses are being "ripped off" by domain investors.

The full message is in the discussion, but the investor is asking for advice on whether they should reply to this email.

Domain News That Will Spook You

A very interesting story was shared this week regarding the registration of a new gTLD. When the investor acquired a .VILLAS domain name a year ago, they paid a standard registration fee (non-premium) and a year later, upon attempting to renew this domain, the investor has found that the name is now considered premium, with a $499 renewal fee.

Is this ethical? Is it common practice to do this? It is certainly a disturbing piece of news for investors who own new gTLDs. To read the full story, visit the discussion.

I probably put more back into renewals than into daily expenses, but I have other incomes now, like my publishing, and telemarketing incomes.

At this point of my investment; there is no inflow all is outflow. So registrars don't try to change dn from $30 to$300- $1000 renewal fees. If you want to make more money you can; you can do this by reducing all your sexyCutive salarymen or salarywomen. Problem solve!
We domainers investors doesn't guarantee we sell domain. But you ICANN's and registrars get your money from us ( domain investors). Guaranteed!
