Just a warning not to use this guy for anything (and hopefully this will end up on Google too)

Used him for content, his site looked good and we talked for quite a while about what he would do and he showed me previous quality work.

Sent him the money and off he ran - hasn't been online since and won't reply to any IMs or emails.

Did a bit of research and he's done this before - so please watch out if you see any of the following..

Here's his contact details;

MSN: [email protected]

eMail: [email protected]

Website: www.elaholdings.com

His paypal is [email protected]
Name of account is ' Kristine McMillen ' (clearly his mother or something)

Thanks for the heads up, Tom.

Lets hope this scammer gets his due.

Peace,

Have been in contact with his hosting company; (Hog Wild Host) and they've now suspended his account, pending deletion, after investigation. Good to see a hosting company giving up potential income to protect others, online. :tu:

Just to follow-up on this post and my conversation with your moderator. HogWildHost has since terminated the ELAHolding's account and all associated files.

However I noticed they have moved on to another hosting provider. Has anyone that has been dealing with ELA ever contacted the BBB or any law enforcement agencies. Or can even ICANN help in anyway.

I'm sorry to bring up this old thread but this is very important and I would like to warn any others. I was about to sign a partnership with this person (nicholas mcmillen) and I did a quick google search. Found this and many other scam posts. He has since changed his business to Endo Holdings. If you are doing any business with any such company, please be weary. He also owns http://www.endostudios.com

Do not do any business with this person, you are asking to be scammed.

I've created an account to clear my name of this nonsense.

I do nothing but honest business, anyone saying otherwise has had a unique experience and has shared only a small portion of what I imagine is a much larger situation/scenario.

In "Sabre"'s case, I imagine this stemmed from a lack of immediate communication on my end (a client believing things are to operate on their schedule alone).

I firmly stand by my "compensation up-front, no refund" policy. I'm not at fault if a client decides they no longer want to pursue their venture.

I invite anyone with questions/comments to weigh in. I've got nothing to hide, and I won't have my business suffer.

Just wanted to point out a couple of things.

In "Sabre"'s case, I imagine this stemmed from a lack of immediate communication on my end (a client believing things are to operate on their schedule alone).

It speaks volumes that you don't believe you should adhere to a clients schedule. If you have some personal issues to deal with, you need to contact the client and let them know this is the case instead of not responding to any form of correspondence for a period of time. Unlike you, I do have a reputable business to run and I expect work to be delivered on-time to the high standards that have been advertised.

You didn't deliver my work on time, then proceeding to ignore all my communications - from requesting an update all the way through to filing a claim with Paypal, who duly returned me my money.

In my case, you took the payment and didn't deliver the content. The content delivery date was the 10th and I posted this thread on the 16th, which gave you a full business working week to respond. I still haven't received any contact after the entire Paypal claim was processed, which took a while. You actually never responded to any of my communications, and still haven't. A week late with no communication was a worry, a month later after having to claw back my money, there's no other word for this than 'scam'. Glad the other member drew the connection between elaholdings.com (ELA holdings) & endostudios.com (Endo Studios) as this will now push its way up the Google search listings :)

I am glad my report helped you make the right decision - that is what this section is here for! Best of luck finding the right partner for your business - and remember, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is! :)
