Your Thoughts Please - Letter Substitutions "ph" for "f"

DO any of these types of substitutions stand a chanceat making a profit?

phajita.com
pheminist.com

Are these and other similar names saleable in any way? Is there a future for this type of tld?

I've seen other substitutions like "Z" for "S" that seems to be making some inroads.

I appreciate your opinions.

Only if you're going to brand the hell out of it and it looks good.

Farm to Pharm - ok.
Fajita to Phajita - not ok.

I would stay away as the power of domains for those with limited resources is in straight keywords. Exceptions can be made when certain trends proliferate, but in general stick with your keywords sans the metamorphisis.

Domaining is a lot tougher than I thought it would be.

You're saying if I develop these domains there's some profit potential but as undeveloped names theres nada. Correct?

I didnt see you comment in my thread...
but I would assume the same responses from my "z" in place of "s"
would be applicable to your ph/f question.

I looked at the thread this morning when I was looking for a thread about "ph" for "f". I didn't comment on your thread because I don't have enough experience to make any useful suggestions. We my be in similar situations.

I started my domaining about a year ago and just started buying whatever I thought sounded good (classic rookie mistake :red: ). Now I'm going broke renewing and am finally learning something.

I'm not sure the "ph" use replacing the "f" sound is ready for mainstream products or services.

I DO think it is a clever way to associate to the "iphone" products and services. i.e.

iPhaqs.com

Here I use the "ph" in place of the "F'' in a clever FAQ site ..... erm
... that I never finished. Did I mentioned the "clever" use ....

So in the examples you've submitted I would have to say no. Not a good
use.

I never thought of the iphone angle. Interesting possibilities there. In Canada we have only had the phone since last summer I believe.

I had always thought of the first 2 as being urban, young and hip sounding. Had them parked and optimized for clothing,fashion etc. Didn't make much.

If I had the money I would definitely develop phajita. It's one of my favourites.
