Now I've seen first hand how you respond to people, I realise what you are about. Promotions, and nothing else. And that should be stopped outside the proper forums.
Most of your threads and posts are just promotional, as all you do is talk heavily about how great all your
.top domains are, even arguably in off-topic places. And you always list some new domain name you have just purchased and you link to it or it's for sale page. You disguise all this from being SPAM by wrapping it all in some pointless debate, poll, or discussion, or all 3.
In this thread in your opening post you linked to Sedo where this (y0u.tube) domain name is available for offers, as you do with your other names in other threads. Then you get the debate going, heat it up, and make it popular. It hits all the "new post" and "popular" side threads, and people discuss, and you get the publicity you intended.
You even had an offshoot from this thread in another one spamming yet again based on some stupid poll about "the difference between 0 and o". And generated even more attention, and linked back to this thread.
This is not only pointless waste of forum thread spaces, but also spam and self promotion.
FORUM SPAM SHOULD BE STOPPED!
Why else would you respond the way you do?
Is this thread about getting opinions as you stated "opinions welcome" or you just saying "Here's my new name and the link to the for sale page"? It's clearly the latter given your argumentative responses, further links, new post from this one linking back to it, and you disliking anyone who does not like your posts. And this can easily be define as SPAM. Regardless of the definition, it's certainly not interesting, useful, topical, nor in anyway helpful to anyone other than you!
You're only friendly when people agree with you, and when they don't agree you become defensive and use the "dislike" button, frequently. You don't even engage in natural conversation unless people agree with you. You happily discuss and debate with those who like your promoted domain names as this sends out a positive message that they could be of value. This is utterly terrible for newcomers who see your post/like count and as a lot of newcomers are eager to make money, they believe your
hype.
This tells me you only care about your own agenda - promoting your names. And I won't be a part of that.
Such a selfish approach does not provide a balanced and well informed collection of information and knowledge sharing which others can make use of.
We likely all make mistakes and unknowingly break small rules here and there, but you break many rules and requirements:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/expectations-for-respect-and-constructiveness.845259/
Mainly:
- defensive: objects harshly to any criticism or counter-arguments
- destructive: lacking helpful information, such as a list of improvements that can be made
- antagonizing: tends to initiate cycle of hostility
- disrespectful: presented in a manner that lacks regard for the feelings and efforts of others
- stubborn: establishes opinion as fact and regards differing views as offensive
As unfriendly as this sounds, I'm done trying to help you or even discuss anything with you. I find your general attitude towards discussions to be simply like running into a brick wall - either we agree with you and all is well, or we try to provide some constructive and friendly criticism and you dislike our posts and argue without any substance.
This is a waste of everyone's time and forum resources and distracts from more useful and better discussions elsewhere.
