Won't be around much in 2009
I just wanted to let everyone know that due to personal reasons (Health issues mainly, but also I can't handle all the Script Kiddies anymore), I won't be around namepros much anymore.
To all that have been a help to me and those I have helped Thank You.
To all those that have bought sites from me , mechanisms are in place for support.
To those that I still have sites to do , I have sent PM's

BareFootTech Minisites wiil be still around , Just not as many will be done by me anymore.

I'm not sure what issues you've had with script kiddies, but I do understand health issues and personal issues very well. I almost left NamePros over them myself, recently. However, it is atleast good that you didn't say you were gone, but rather just wouldn't be as active. We'd hate to go without you (ie: Read between the lines - :great: ). You might be suprised to find that the camaraderie of fellow NPers, especially those you've known awhile, is something you can't do without. That said, I hope you find yourself in here more often in 2009 than you think you will. If I'm right, then NamePros will continue to benefit from your input and insight. If I'm wrong, we'll just have to send out the NP server's newest hamster, "Rambo", to come and drag you back in here from time to time :p

What is a "script kiddy?"

A script kiddy is a programmer wannabe with only enough knowledge to edit scripts, but not enough to actually understand abstract concepts like

• Programming (editing Config.files is NOT PROGRAMMING)
• Ethics
• Software Engineering
• Project Management
• Testing
• Usability
• Income earning potential
• Understanding clients needs
• Maturity to not throw temper tantrums
• having a mental age above 11years

To add to your script kiddie explanation, a script kiddie in my opinion is more like the 11 year old(physically or mentally) hacking into web server...what you are talking about is more like a lot of programmer wannabees hanging around at sites like"getafreelancer etc
