Will There be a Market for LLLLL.com ?

I have noticed that now the LLL.COM market has became virtually impossible to register names on, the LLLL.COM market has rocketed, maybe because people are rushing for the LLLL.COM's that are worth regging, and the market value for them has rocketed.

What happens when LLLL.COM ends up the same way as LLL.COM will there then become a market for LLLLL.COM ?

Personally I dont think there will, theres nearly 12million of them! If there were to be a market for them it would take an awfully long time imo

I think you might find that there already is a market for true pronouncable LLLLL.com with only premium letters (no jkquvwxyz). I can't find any to register, anyway.

There will not be a market for random crap lettered LLLLL.com for being just that, only through true chance acronyms to end users, but I can't see them having a resller market behind them ever. Prononceable good lettered ones will have potential, just as would LLLLLL.coms. The reseller value in LLL.com and to an extent LLLL.com is that they are potentially acronyms for longer names. An LLLLL.com would be much less likely, as it would have to stand for 5 words, not 4 or 3.

On my available names lists for LLLLL.com, I am finding ~1/3 of the names I list are being registered. There is definately growing interest. Ofcourse, care must be taken into picking the better names as a large percentage of the 12 million names are rubbish.

The other area of growing interest that should pick up a lot when the LLLL.com run out is the LL-L.com and L-LL.com. There are only 4913 premium* L-LL.com and 4913 premium* LL-L.com and I'm expecting these domains to run out around the same time as the 456976 LLLL.com run out.

I contacted a 4 letter .com last week for a quote on a 4 letter .com that I was interested in for a personal project and got a quote of $2,500, non-negotiable. The letters have "0" acronyms on acronym finder, and no Google results that "mean" anything - so I was kind of taken aback, but I think that folks with 4 letters area either now liquidators (The bazaar sellers) or hoarders (Looking only for end-users and will sit on parking revenue until then.).

However, as with LLLL, if there is a definite meaning to it, value can be worth much more than zxyjq.com

There is only 100,000 NNNNN.com compared to 11881376 LLLLL.com. Around 70% of the NNNNN.com are owned by Marchex as they are zip codes for US cities. This leaves only 30000 other NNNNN.com for everyone else. I'm not sure how many NNNNN.com there are available but there shouldn't be a lot.

It would be interesting to find out how many NNNNN.com there are available to reg.

My estimates based on a random sample is that 88% of them are registered.
