How Much Would You Pay For a LLLL.com With Repeating Letters?

I was wondering what the market price for a LLLL.com with all repeating letters would be, like AAAA.com, BBBB.com, CCCC.com, etc.?

Considering that these are among the rarest (just 26 of these), what do you think these would fetch in the reseller market?

I contacted 2 of them....they replied asking $100,000 each...

well, that would be seller's ideal price. Even 975.net's owner wanted 100,000 for his name, but that doesn't mean his name is actually worth that much.

I was wondering more on the current reseller prices.

We can`t really have "reseller prices" on something so rare. There are only 26 of them and I have never seen one sold and confirmed.

I DONT really think any of them are worth over 4-8k personally. Keep in mind that even LL.nets with repeating letters usually sell for 20k+, so LLLL.coms with repeating letters cannot be worth more than that...it is 4 characters long whichever way you look at it.

I think that's about right Sashas. LL.com or LLL.com with repeating letters are much, much better for potential enduser sales. It does have the rarity factor, but imho, certainly not worth 5 figures.

personally, I wouldn't pay more than 120k even for a repeating LL.com with bad letters like QQ.com

I remember a NP member with two such repeating letter LLLL.coms...should've asked him how much he got them for...

well that depends.....if your name was something like:

Quack Quack (lol) or Qanxi Quondong....

I`d pay (if I had that kind of money) to have LC.com :)

Hello All,

I don't have a same letter LLLL.com, but I do have one of the same letter LLL.com's. I did also just miss a chance to buy two more same-letter LLL.com several years ago (both for pennies on the dollar compared to today's value). I haven't seen or heard of any others being actively sold or having sold since early 2005.

I do get a pretty fair number of offers for the one I do have, and several offers in the strong $xxx, xxx range, but I'm happier to hold right now than sell, unless an offer comes along I just couldn't refuse.

As far as same-letter LLLL.com domains, they probably do get a fair amount of traffic and I too haven't heard of any for sale or selling in the last couple of years. Every extra letter can have the effect of reducing the number of potential end-users (ie. LLLL.com might have more end-user uses than LLLLLLL.com), but if a buyer needs what they need, then length and characters really don't matter. This said, same letter short domains are quite easy to brand and certainly easy to remember and market.

I doubt a buyer would regret purchasing a same letter LL.com, LLL.com, or LLLL.com if one could be secured.

Thanks all,
zesty

I thought everyone on this board have some LLLL.com +:)

when the ETF (stock symbol) changed from QQQ to QQQQ, I bet QQQQ is very valuable now.

A couple of months ago, I checked some repeating .com's & .net's, and I grabbed CCCCCC.net - the only 6-letter repeating .net that wasn't registered. Just now, I checked again for 5-, 6-, and 7-letter repeating .net's, and I found (and reg'd) MMMMMM.net. (I like it: when you taste something good, you say "Mm-mm-mm!")

If anyone's interested, three 7-letter .net's are available: T, U, and Y.
