Thanks for sharing. Startups should not be missing the developments happening around dot IO top level domain. A ccTLD has its own risks for businesses that are not native to that country.

I had to laugh.

There's no guarantee that .com will always be in existence either.

Death and taxes. They are the only guarantees in life ;)
