Hi,

Is whypark worth the money?

I have a few domains parked at sedo.com with 1-25 visitors/day, but I don't make any money. Are there other options that can increase my traffic/earnings, or should I try whypark?

Thanks!

I think you can try Whypark without paying at first. If you can then it might be worth doing.

If you have some domains that are getting traffic, the two main options for parking are to customize the parking pages or move them to another provider. Once you are at a provider that allows you to test design and keywords, you may find something that will starting getting some clicks. The more you know about what your visitors are looking for, the better.

You can also just move to another provide that also does not allow any customization, like imonetize.com. They may do a better job than SEDO.

Another option is to host the domains yourself and put a site on them. If you have ads like AdSense or a good affiliate program you may make some money that way, but it's going to be more work. Sometime people put a site on a domain for a while and then take it back to being parked after it has some links and PR. Check your provider's rules to see if they allow doing this first.

WhyPark can be very useful. It all depends on how you use it. If you know CSS or HTML this could be a great site. Check out my links below ( mycreditscore101, bermudaflights, smartphoneapps) they are all Whypark sites. At first it did seem rather expensive to me but i tried it free, (http://www.whypark.com/siteref.cfm )this link should alow you to have a free account for 1 domain. Go ahead and test it out and you can add your own Adsense codes and try to make some cash ADD CUSTOM CONTENT!!!. There are quite a few links here at Nampros that can help you understand Whypark more and i would suggest checking them out. Good luck.

Since you have some sites at WP, can you comment on how much you are making there from the traffic you get? I have not seen all that much posted that is specific about the real results. Most of the hosted domains I see there are all PageRank none or 0. By contrast, I am starting to get some PR as high as 3 on some of my domains that are parked at TrafficZ.

WP templates looks good, but does is justify the fee you have to pay?

Well, these sites are all less than 1 or 2 months old. These sites are just getting off the ground so numbers are still low (not as low as regular parking).
With the combine income from the sites i have easily made my money back already. My affiliates pay much better than parking sites and Adsense is doing alright. I am still waiting for alot of my pages to get indexed and trying out ways to get a page rank to gain more traffic. To me personaly $99 is a cheap way to host simple sites, and not to mention that this fee is for 100 domain names and you only get charged once to use this service for a lifetime.

So, you have 3 sites there and have had them for 1-2 months and already made over $100? Well, that's pretty good. But what kind of traffic is each domain getting? And what kind of CTR? Exactly how much is being made with AdSense and how much from what affiliate programs? What are you doing to improve things?

You don't need to answer those questions, but those are the things that make me wonder how well it will work for me. Without some real information, there's no way to tell if I would do better or worse than you are.

I've just gotten my domains up to where I made $200 from parking last month. That's double what I made the month before, so unless I can get some solid information, I can't see paying for a service like this that may or may not work better.

But since they have the free trial for one domain I think I will try that. If it does work then I agree that the price is reasonable. Perhaps others will post what their experiences are.

Update: I just signed up with WhyPark for a free trial of one domain. If you are at all interested in this service, I suggest you contact them and get a trial account for yourself. It's pretty easy to use and there are some good options. The real test is in how well the site generates money, and if it can gain PR and links. I already have a list of suggestions for them and I could see this platform becoming quite popular if it performs well. I really like having the options to run the kind of ads I want and include links if I want to as well.
