Anybody care to venture why .tv is being excluded from Rick Latona's upcoming ccTLD conference/auction?

Makes sense if you think of it that way. But he does seem to be "against" .tv as suggested by others ... and evident in this post. .TV falls more into the gTLD realm with how it's marketed and used.

I agree but I just don't get that. .TV should be HOT and getting HOTTER. What is the #!#@ing problem (Besides exorbitant reg fees, crazy premium pricing/policies, and a whacked registry, of course...sdsinc said:.tv is not in the same league IMHO.

Notice the television/cable programs these days...more and more dotTV domains for stations and shows and oh yeah...those advertisers... hmm, just a thought...

Curious to know what criteria was used for choosing these....
