Quite the impressive portfolio Jim!

Just one question...How do we find out what the premium yearly fees are?

Thanks, and Good Luck,
Vito

Vito,

These are all standard renewals $19-$25 a year.

Thanks, Jim

Wow!

I figured most of these were legacy premium .TV's.

Thanks Jim.
Good Luck to you.

Vito.

Vito,

They did not want to do legacy premiums in this auction. Too much confusion.

Thanks, Jim

What is good is that 6 months ago, Latona did not like any of my .tv names except for Spain.tv which did not sell at Auction. Now, I see interest from many of the top brokers in the industry wanting to get involved in marketing .tv.

It's been a long 10 years in my love/hate relationship with .tv, but I feel things are turning the corner for all of us who hang in there.

Thanks, Jim

Good Luck Jim. You have some amazing names and price seems very reasonable for all the names.

That is correct. I don't need to sell anything because at standard renewal I can hold on though I would like to sell some.

Thanks, JIm

"Reserve price" here doesn't make any cents in the current aftermarket, IMHO ... as both Japan.tv and Germany.tv recently sold for approx. $10,000/each at the Sedo .TV auction! :yell: :imho:

Strongly urge removing, or at least realistically lowering, posted pricing (as you "would like to sell some") IMHO. :gl:
All the best,

There has been a noted increase in interest in .TV domains among the domainer community the last couple of months. Most domain auctions are frequented by domainers though there are some high-profile domainers and companies like Portalis entering the space. Perhaps Latona is marketing this auction to select end users. I'm not sure the market has matured that quickly but this auction should give us an indication of the demand for end-user priced .TV domains.

I really don't understand the concept of an auction where the desire is to "sell some" but I "don't need to" with commensurate reserves from a buyer perspective.

No doubt that some of the domains are *real* good - and better than 99% of the people reading this hold but.. still.. not really an auction more of a showcase in the hopes that someone see something shiny and exciting. Some of these I would not have bid on at the last Latona auction... shows you what I know.

Good Luck !

Jeff,

Who knows, the Queen of England might buy the name, but then I have to have "s@x with her, and I don't have strong enough alcohol to make that happen:)

It's hard to understand what buyers are thinking. Learn.tv and Christmas.tv sold $41,000 and $32,000 at Sedo Auction and I wound not even bought those names for $3000.

My brother thinks his "wife" is hot. Well, I would not even let my "dog" date her:) Different taste with different people we will see what happen. I guess we will know in 1 week. The worst thing that will happen if I don't sell, I got to pay the $25 renewal next year and Jeff will tell me "I told you so"

Thanks, Jim

^ I don't exactly know where you're going with this statement. :-/

I, too, question some Sedo .TV "reported sales" to Portalis AG; and thus, at this time, would not use them for firm comp. purposes / pricing expectations - it's important to note that most of these recent sales (including both Learn.TV and Christmas.TV) were to only ONE buyer, IMHO. :red:

Best wishes,
Jeff B-)

It's called drinking and smoking a big "fat joint" prior to responding on namepros:) Does everybody respond drunk and stoned every once in a while:)
