Hi as the title i'm a newbie domainers and i'm looking for some information to better begin my activity. There is a friend of mine who is a quite expert domain parker and he gave to me some advice. Nowadays he is too busy so i thought to begin here a discussion.
He said to me that it's good for beginner buy backorder domain. I know all about how to backorder a domain. But i have a golden question!! Which sites are better to backorder for earning more money??
I search for easy name that could be typed in or typos. I search them into the name jet newsletter or in pool.com.
then i check their actual traffic on alexa and if there are in the google archive watching archive.org.
I know that better domains are sites which have something to sell and with big traffic, isn't it?? I think that a better traffic it's an alexa rank from 5 mln. More backlink have and better is. Obviously the traffic is proportional for the category. I mean for a video streaming domain for to have a good revenue i need a very high traffic, meanwhile for financial or health domain also less traffic is good because usually the keyword paying more. Now I check the alexa details for traffic because i don't want a site that is losing much traffic in too fast time.
If the data are taken i consider also the clickstream, and if it's mainly from google search engine it's better.
[But usually parking domain are not excluded by search engine because they haven't content??]
Then I check in google if a keyword have lot of ads. I go to the right google for the right keyword language.
FInally i could search on the google keyword tool how much is the cpc for my choosed keywords, how much is the search volume for the keywords and the competition colums to choose a balanced ones.
if all my job sutisfy me I think that i could place a backorder.
