The way to go?

Hi,

I'm new to this and I read all over this great forum, but one question.

What is the way to go?

- I use Google Keywords to find popular words, but what is "popular" ? 5000 searches? 200 000? What is the minimum?
- I also use Google Adsense Traffic Estimator to estimate revenune. But what is a great numer? is it enough with 1$ pr. click and the estimate is 100 clicks a day?
- Is is a good idea to buy a domainname that match a google keyword/sentence?


My first domain name has an Google Estimated CPC 2,70 - 3,99$ and 81 to 102 clicks a day.
the domain name is a exact keyword match (keyword.com keywords use your keywords to GO direct to web pages and files.) and have 165 000 on Global monthly search volume.


Should I park this or make a mini-site? (I will try out Noomle..)

Don't fall for the Google keyword and traffic estimator tool hype around here. It has some value to us, but is meant for AdWords buyers and not AdSense users.

Those estimated clicks you are seeing are not the number of estimated clicks for a site using AdSense. It's to estimate for AdWords buyers what kind of traffic they can expect if they bid $x. There is no way to estimate how many clicks AdSense users will get or how much each click is worth (that is entirely dependant upon each individual site).

I think the reason why these tools are so popular among domainers is simply because there are very few tools to help valuate domains. So the common domainer clings to what we do have available to us, no matter how flawed these systems may be.

Although iam very new here and newbie in DNs, i agree with dubdubdubdob above to a certain extent. The other point you need to know is that whatever data given by google is purely estimates and should be used as such, just to guide you.
