Hi Guys, Which valuation tool do you use most/trust most based on initial valuation Vs actual sale price experience - GDad Freevaluator Estibot Other Whilst I appreciate valuation isnt as valuable as actual sale prices, does anyone use valuation in buying research or just past similar sales?
Your brain and similar past sales. Also, archive.org and hosterstats.com for domain history are highly recommended.
Namebio is probably the way forward when you're starting out but as you become more experienced your brain becomes the best tool.
I use my wife's temper to valuate my domains. Usually she thinks I am just another loser like most of the namepros guyz here wasting money, and her temper soars when she hears a new name. I don't renew the domains when her temper is too high on hearing a new name and hold the domains when her temper is a bit low on hearing a name.
I don't trust any automated appraisal tool as far as a valuation goes, but a tool like Estibot is very helpful to filter through domain lists. The best real world appraisals are actual sales. I would say NameBio.com is the best there. Brad
This is hilarious and on penning my first post a few days ago she peered over my shoulder on the laptop and screamed - haven't you got anything better to do you loser! When I flip a biggie and drop $200 on the kitchen table and tell her to spoil herself, she wont be laughing then..
