I was curious which domain lander do you use that is most effective. I am not concerned with ppc ads at all. I just want a really nice looking lander with a very readable for sale header that works well with desktops and mobile.

If you have any examples of names that we can see that would be great.

Thanks for your time.

Personally I like DNS very much.
It looks very professional.

DNS is quick, just click one setting and they all show sales landers. Could also buy your own domain sales script or Wordpress plugin to create your own sales landers if ya wanna keep it all in house.

I do like the way DNS looks and have set up a few but not satisfied. Sedo's new landers look great but I don't like the fact that buyers have to sign up to Sedo to make an offer. Too many steps in my opinion makes buyers go somewhere else.

I do have a site setup but to get all the domains forwarded to a single page is next to impossible with the format. It gives errors and etc…

Can someone recommend a good wordpress person to set up a simple page with all domains listed on one page similar to Namecore. I could probably make it myself if I knew which was the best Wordpress theme to start with.

Look at the wordpress plugins from wp-types.com ( not free ). Several of their plugins would be useful but the one for building tables would be Views.

Code Canyon ( aka envato marketplace ) is a great place to search for pretty much everything!

I cannot recommend DNS enough. Best out there, and it's the most popular answer to your thread for a reason.... they also have brokers that can handle inbound inquiries for you if you choose to do so.

DNS is great I had so much inquires (yeah 90% of inquries stays just inquries :) ) via their platform, but it shows something. Sedo's newest is also very clean, but as someone pointed out before someone can make an offer he needs to register etc... and people like simplicity so they can get scared away and via DNS platform you get just about every info you need from the potential buyer from their name, mail, IP and most of them write something in the comment section so you can get some insight which on Sedo's platform kind of lacks I don't know why, but if someone makes me an offer on Sedo they usually don't write anything so the only info I have from potential buyer is his location and when he signed up so you are pretty much left in the dark.

Can't go wrong with DNS......

The only thing that concerns me with DNS is that people can anonymously keep submitting fake "offers" until they reach your "Minimum Offer That You'd Accept" - and thus get a sense of what you're looking for price-wise. They can do this using a fake name, fake email, fake everything and DNS system does NOTHING to verify any of the contact information either when submitted or when forwarded to the domain owner. Test it for yourself and see.

(for the casual reader)

I think in this context, DNS means domainnamesales.com

Have you looked into possibly using wordpress themes for your needs? There are a "few" themes out there that you can use to showcase your domain name for sale.

I've been planning on doing exactly that. Care to share with us the few themes you came across which allow us to really showcase domains for sale? Please? I'll be your best friend! (LOL)

@ebess - I used a wordpress theme for this domain as an example.

The theme for that type of site is called " Permatex" Wordpress theme. I had to do some edits to it but it does the jobs if you want to create a lead capture type pages.

If you want to showcase domains for sale, let me know what you think about NameTreats.com - It's what I am using at the moment to showcase some of my domains and clients domains.

Don't you think Wordpress is somewhat overkill for a simple Domain For Sale Page.

Did you never try the page I sent you awhile ago now.

Thanks again for that Stub. I just need to devote some more time to it.

I really do think that using WordPress for a Domain For Sale Lander, is complete overkill. I understand time pressures well, but I do think you have what you need in your hands to do what you need for multiple domains. Of course it's supposed to be tweaked to you liking, background etc. It just depends on how fancy you want to get. But even fancy shouldn't be beyond your skills.
