The Best Sales Lander Parking Platforms?

Hey all.

Looking for some insight when it comes to great Sales Lander provided by a parking platform. I heard domain name sales has good ones but I keep getting rejected by them. lol.

I'm using Voodoo's parking service but I do not see an option for JUST a sales lander to gather interested leads and show that THE DOMAIN NAME IS FOR SALE.

I am not looking for the PPC page with a banner on the top that mentions it's for sale. I want to test an option with no PPC ads.

Can anyone suggest a company that has just a Sales Lander with No PPC ads across a page. If so, any examples?

Thanks!

-Omar

Flippa has a nice clean and minimal landing page.

I came across undeveloped.com today which seems like it could be a decent platform, haven't tested it yet but the landing pages definitely look and function better than Flippa's.

Landing pages look like this.

Interesting. Looks decent.

I need to go check out Flippa option also. Thank you!

The thing I don't like about the Undeveloped is I believe they are advertising their services across the top banner and also showing the brokers and things like that in the bottom. It's not the worst thing in the world but it could distract a potential person who is interested in the name...just my views of course.

Of course they advertise their services, everyone does the same. As long as they provide a freebie I guess they are entitled to do so. Flippa, DNS and all the others are doing the same thing by giving you access to their landing pages in exchange for a commission if they sell your name.

If you want a landing page just for you, pay a lad to design an one page template and you can use it for all the domains you have.

Have you looked at Efty?

Yes. I have looked into them. I wanted a few other options. Bodis looks interesting....

Thinking about doing a wordpress for each domain name with a contact form. Would be a ton of work though.

Have you looked at Efty?

Seen a couple of their landing pages and marketplace design but was not amazed mainly for two reasons:

1. I find the designs are mostly old-school type and are not so professional from sales perspective.
2. The colors/backgrounds used are so DARK and the combination (of colors and images) wasn't working at all with the design.

Samples I have seen
http://outofoffice.domains/
http://bandmanager.com/

So being an intermediate designer myself, I think they need a lot of work to improve the "design" aspect of both of their products (sales page and marketplace designs).

Other than the front end, I have read that their backend is something really cool. But that's off-topic and I haven't seen their dashboard also, so I'll stop here, lol.

Just my 2cents.

Wordpress is overkill for this. You can do this with php and mailer, if you have some html/php knowledge. See my example here... http://testingout.com/offer/contact.php?domain=example.com

I second that. HTML/PHP based templates are all what you need buddy for your domain sales landing pages. Like @stub has said, Wordpress is overkill and you said it yourself, it's a lot of work.

Take stub's advice and go with HTML/PHP templates. It will be a cheaper solution with long term consumption.

No. It's free.

Hi,

I have looked at several platforms and neither Flippa, Bodis, Etfy and other seems to suit the person wanting only to sell his domains, not promote the platform or get ad revenue, so there is space for development in this industry. Tell me Shane, do you still need alphas?

Bodis offers the option to not display parked page and only display sales lander page, AND IT'S FREE TO USE. PM me if you want more info.

It's not a freebie - Undeveloped charges a 9% commission on sales. That said, the pages do look nice. I have some names parked with them to see if they can assist with direct conversions. They do have their logo on the top and a small auction link at the bottom. But I imagine if someone typed my name directly - that's what they want and those small things shouldn't detract.

Bodis offers the option to not display parked page and only display sales lander page, AND IT'S FREE TO USE. PM me if you want more info.

AND their for sale landing pages are blocked by anyone using an adblocker :( That said, I'm still testing them to see if they can convert. But they'll have to convert much higher than the others (Undeveloped, ToughDomains, Efty, etc.) because they are losing traffic to anyone with an adblocker.
