I want to list my domain on Afternic, DAN, and Sedo.

Which best?
  1. Use domain registrar nameservers then add ownership verification to list on Afternic, DAN, and Sedo (No sale lander).
  2. Use Afternic nameservers, then add ownership verification to list on Dan and Sedo (Afternic sale lander).
  3. Use DAN nameserves, then add ownership verification to list on Afternic and Sedo (DAN sale lander).
  4. Use Sedo nameservers, then add ownership verification to list on Afternic and DAN (Sedo sale lander).
Well, I didn't have experience to list on that platform—and this is my first time to listing my domain portofolio, what is your suggestion?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Assuming that you maintain separate accounts with each of the three marketplaces you mentioned, you could, in short, do the following. Pay attention to the order.
  • At your domain registrar, set the registrar's own name servers as default for new domain registrations, if this is not already the case.
  • With every new domain registration, add TXT records in the DNS of your registrar, for your newly registered domains. This involves three different TXT records, namely for DAN, Sedo, and Afternic. Some registrars allow you to do this all at the same time in a bulk action.
  • Before adding your domains to any marketplace, wait a moment until these TXT records are actually present and can be retrieved in DNS (important).
  • Add your domains to Sedo (manually, or through CSV upload).
  • Add your domains to Afternic (manually, or through CSV upload).
  • Only when your domains have been successfully added to Afternic, do you add your domains to DAN (manually, or through CSV upload). Only then, because otherwise DAN will try to synchronize with Afternic independently, and you will have to solve the duplicate listing conflict.
  • Finally, if your domains have been successfully listed (and verified) on all three marketplaces, change your name servers at your domain registrar to point your domain landers to DAN, Sedo, or Afternic. You can only choose 1 of the three marketplaces (DAN, Sedo, or Afternic) for your 'lander'. Don't forget to further configure your lander at the marketplace itself.
Once you have done all this, it may take a while before DNS is up to date for everyone. The marketplace will start creating TLS certificates (https) for your domain landers, which may also take a while before it is ready (1-2 days).

The actions and options may differ per registrar, and other scenarios are also possible. The steps outlined above are just an example of how you could approach it. If you would like more details, they can be provided by me or others in the rest of this thread.

- Add your domains to Afternic (manually or through CSV upload)
- Finally, and only when your domains are successfully listed on Afternic, do you add your domains to DAN. Finally, because otherwise DAN will try to synchronize with Afternic independently and you will then have to turn it back.
- Finally, if your domains have been successfully listed (and verified) on all marketplaces, change your name servers at your domain registrar to point your domain landers to DAN, Sedo, or Afternic. You can only choose 1 of the three marketplaces (DAN, Sedo, or Afternic) for your 'lander'. Don't forget to further configure your lander at the marketplace itself.

Agreed with this but I would set lander to Dan or Afternic and definitely not Sedo

I wanted to keep my explanation as neutral as possible. OP can choose for themselves.

I import my domain to Afternic first then to Dan.com, and all price I updated manually. Is that okay?
