Hi,

I have decided to move my PHP/MySQL website to a Managed VPS as the traffic is beginning to pick up. But I am confused as to which hosting company to choose.

My budget between $50-100 per month. Can you please recommend which US based hosting company offers best deal.

1. Plenty of RAM,
2. Plenty of CPU speed
3. And plenty of Bandwidth
4. Plenty of HD space

I found VPSLatch.Net as a cheap ($25p/m with free cPanel) & best for Managed VPS Hosting.

I suggest proaxxs.net and unixy.net :)

I think that should be posted in the web hosting requests here.
But please be more specific with RAM ans other requirements. That will drive some direct orders to you.

Check out hostgator, their Managed VPS plans start at $20.

Your requirements are very reasonable. Are you looking for any specific platform or control panel with this VPS?

I suppose you need to avoid words like plenty while making web hosting request.

Can you please tell us more about your projects and/or websites you want to host on the virtual server? This will help members to provide better advise on the VPS services and providers.

It seems he does not know for sure what exactly he is looking for and that is a quite big problem here as for me

I will be running an enterprise level application so I will require plenty of space as I will be allowing users to upload lots of pictures.

More importantly I am also expecting high volume in terms of traffic too. As I mentioned above I will need:

1. Plenty of RAM,
2. Plenty of CPU speed
3. And plenty of Bandwidth
4. Plenty of HD space

My question is, which hosting company offers the best deals as my budget allows me to spend between $50-$100 monthly.

If you are interested in information check the 3 providers I posted above. I searched for the exact same subject for days. I read dozens of reviews. I'm using one of them for my own site.

I also posted you a link where you can get discount codes for any website including the 3 sites I mentioned. You can not get any better answer than this, not in this forum, not anywhere else on the Internet.

However, if you want persuading, I can not help you with that and you are likely to end up with some rubbish company. Hosting is not only about numbers. It is about the quality of the service and the quality of the people behind that service.

I think that is enough to start recommending them.

I'd suggest bluehost. They have excellent customer support :)

Few months ago I searched for the exact same subject for 3 days and I came up with this list:

ServInt VPS - Managed Virtual Private Server - VPS Hosting
Managed VPS | VPS Hosting | VPS Server | VPS Web Hosting | WiredTree
Managed VPS Pricing - Managed VPS Hosting with cPanel, Plesk and Directadmin by KnownHost VPS Specialists

Also check Coupon codes and discounts for 65,000 online stores! RetailMeNot.com for coupon codes.

It is very difficult finding trustworthy information on this subject but I believe all these three are very good.

Nice list, they are indeed some of the managed VPS providers I've read great things about.

I'll add Liquidweb which I've used and has been like clockwork, and Futurehosting, which I didn't use but have read nice things about.

A coupon code saved me $10 a month and gave me some $20 worth of free upgrades, so they can be indeed quite valuable and not a step to forget about. Comparisons between hosts price wise should be made after taking coupons into account.

Coupon codes never prove the quality of web hosting services.

I don't think anyone said something to the contrary. Looking for coupons is still a wise step to take before signing up for a service. Everybody likes to save some cash. :)

What about HostGator? Aren't they any good for VPS?
