Over the years I've been with many different VPS and Dedicated Server providers. None of them have cut it apart from one:

They do cost a bit more than other providers, but their support is truly amazing. They have 24/7 phone and email support so that you can talk DIRECTLY with people who know what they are doing. You don't simply have a cheap call centre passing messages on to people.

I will never have problems recommending these guys.

I think VPS starts at $80 per month with them, but you will always be safe in the knowledge that nothing will go wrong.
