There was a godaddy domain (maganda.net) that expired on 4th of August 2007. Today, only 10 days after its expiry I went to tdname to check it and it says auction closed.
The domain expired only 10 days ago, how can the auction be closed?
Tdnam used to start the auction 24 days after the expiry. Assuming it runs for 4 days, then the auction should close 28 days after expiry.
