I reged two .how domains this morning, one a 3 LLL and one was a 2 LL. They both went through at 101domain.com and are sitting in my account as processing.

I got on chat after some time and they are saying they're Prem. domains, what? Create a ticket and contact support. Who needs this type of crap when spending money??

I checked whois and both show available, shame on you 101domains.com if they don't go through.

.US domains.US domains
Its a glitch in the system that I found in many registrars across many extensions.
I have had the same thing done to me with .CLUB, .CLICK, .WANG, .XYZ just to name a few extensions.
101domain, name, some Canadian registrar (I don't recall off hand) and a few others.
I think I have more failed attempts to register names (because of this exact scenario) like this then I have actual domain names. Its something like 5 to 1.

I have even been awarded names with me listed on the whois, only to have them removed and me refunded.
Once in a while they clear and I get to keep them but I am sure it comes down to the inability for the owning company to update across the board with all registrars any updates to domain names or their status.

Just keep your eyes open, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but at least you get your $$$ back to be utilized again somewhere else.

Just my thoughts

Cheers

It appears they don't support premium .how names. Anyone know of any register connected to Charleston Road Registry yet, for premiums?

I think it was name (dot) com that had some names for premium.
Although they are playing that silly game right now that many registrars are. A premium price for a domain *PLUS* a premium renewal every year after.

Makes you wonder... do these people really want to sell the domains or are they just waiting for something else to happen.

Edit to add:

As far as 101 goes, I was able to secure a couple (what I assume would be considered) premium .HOW names from there.
They where pending for a while but I am happy with what I have.

Edit again to add:

I make this an every other day occurrence. It just so happens that I had an email land in my box with the very same issue. The information just does not up date at the registrars either fast enough or at all.
So I lost a good name (or at least what I deemed to be a good name) but I just press on. Win some lose some. It all comes out in the wash.

Cheers

I checked on name and dynadot and it's there but I'm noty paying that. Almost $700.00 and renewal of $700.00. I should have known better when it was available at 101domain at reg fee.

Oh well moving on...
