I am thinking of contacting about 8 potential companies to try and sell 2 of my domains.

What do you think is the best approach when dealing with a very large corporation ?

Snail mail letter sent by recorded delivery to the head of marketing ?

Email enquiry first ?

Phone call to guage interest and try to set up a meeting in person if possible ?

Other ?

Any suggestions, opinions or advice would be great :tu: thanks

Have you read the "How to find potential end users" thread yet? There's a ton of good advice hidden in there. If you haven't, and are having trouble finding it, let me know I'll dig it up.

Personally, I think if you were able to get the phone number of the right person, then were able to get them interested enough to schedule a meeting, that would be your best bet.

have you considered creating a web site for the 2 domain names you want to sell?
It's not wise to put all your eggs in the one basket...
Find as many end users as possible...be creative

Cheers

Yeah, I did start doing a website but decided its far too big for me to develop at the moment without some help.

I have a personal interest in how this domain is used and I would only ever consider selling it to someone who would do it justice, thats why there's only 8 hand picked "potential" end users for it....this one ain't just about the money :)

Thanks :tu:
