If you live in an area that fluoridates the water supply, you might check out a home distiller for drinking water. I used to have creaky (pre-arthritic) joints but solved that by switching to distilled water. I got one from Amazon years ago and it still works like a champ. This is model here.

I used to fetch barrels of water from a deep water spring that the EPA finally cordoned off from public access. It is still used by the local fish hatchery. It was the best water ever from a 1 mile deep aquifer on the edge of a watershed. Now it is a felony to fetch water there. Nope, nothing to see here.

Anyway, good luck with preventive care, and generally replacing bad habits with good habits.

Thank you for the info...I switched to purified, filtered bottle water in non bpa containers several years ago. My favorite store, Aldi, has great pricing for this bottled water. I used a deep well for years until an outbreak of cancer was detected in a line of homes/farms leading from a major farming operation near me towards a large creek (mini river). Go figure...the cancers are equally spread between a rare brain cancer and non Hodgkins lymphoma.

When working an odd job setting up trade shows when I was in college, I remember hanging out with a kooky older couple promoting under cabinet distillation machines...I wish I had paid more attention to them!

I looked into rain water systems for my home and was surprised to find a lot of laws on the books about gathering run off water...another eye opening experience.

Frank -- Both are fast. As for HTTP result code, 200 is what you want, not 301. That is a structural difference in design architecture. Also, in case not obvious, those are load times for the entire page. These pages are loading via Content Delivery Network at speeds that are comparable to DNS resolution times in some cases. My insurance is through FEHB. Yes, the government pays for the majority of the premium for me.
Now member of congress do have quick access to super care and doctors in DC. Or in most cases, do go to the head of the line for other hospitals, etc.

Yes, I agree that members of congress only work on constantly to make sure they are reelected to their do-nothing jobs.
Right now, very little is being done because one party is spending all it's time trying to find ways to impeach the president.
That entire congress will always be overpaid (hey, what other job is there where the workers vote on what pay raise they will get?).

It is much harder to find the truth now. The disinfo and misinfo are cleverly placed in your path. For example, if you come across QAnon, I am quite sure that their stuff is nonsense -- it is clever disinfo blending in historical truth with nonsense. However, a little leavens the whole lump.

Also, sites like Rational Wiki are arming people with cleverly conceived talking points with which to counter important truths, which if people fully understood, would open eyes and minds.

The idea of "Godly Fear" is not the same idea as "terror" or "horror".

The point is that once someone realizes that there is an all-knowing, all-seeing and all-powerful Creator, who does not miss much, one realizes their actions and words are all on the record.

On the other hand, fallible man also has the benefit of "propitiation" -- the central idea of Jesus dying on the cross is that our sins, abundant as they are, were, and are, nailed to His cross.

There is the further idea of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, i.e. once someone is "born again", the holy spirit takes up residence and starts reinventing them from the inside out.
