I've owned this domain for quite awhile already so I think it's time to develop it or something.. (I'm a web designer and developer as well so no problem on that..)

Been parking it for 2 years. Once I received an offer of $1.5k but later on they retracted the bid. :p

Just done a google keyword search on it and realised there's over 4k+ type in traffic for that exact word on Google, not too bad I would say.. Any suggestions? ☺

If this were mine, I'd let it drop. IMO.

There going to be many summers of telling the youngins about the $1500 offer. Seems like its a name of a performers album, maybe she made you the offer and changed her mind. Pleasant adaptation of "ambient" i would put it at "Hold" goodluck

Ambeon is name of 2-member, Dutch metal act. I wonder if the act/group can say that the domain name you're trying to sell is the exact same as a mark (registered or common law) that the act has rights to. Can the group say that it has legitimate interests in your domain name and that you do not and that you have not even developed a site for the domain name?

Also, "Ambien" is a registered trademark of a popular sleep medication. What if the manufacturer of Ambien says that your domain name Ambeon is confusingly similar to Ambien, the sleep medication? What if the manufacturer of Ambien started a UDRP proceeding to try to get your domain name, claiming that you don't have legitimate interests in the name, are acting in bad faith, and are just trying to profit?

I again ask an important question: What is the best way to contact potential end-users to offer domain names for sale, while minimizing the risk of a nasty, time-consuming, expensive domain name dispute?

The first thing I thought of was the sleep medication and you know what big companies can be like for protecting their trademarks, even things that just sound similar, or so I have heard.

Yea, that's what the company that wanted to buy Ambeon.com told me as well. But I think pronunciation wise it's different as well. (Ambeon sounds like AMBI-YON rather than Ambien. :P
