Hello NamePros domainers! :hi:

I was just wondering what everyone thinks about different domain parking services that available to us domain owners. Specifically, I'd love to know how everyone is doing with the most popular parking services (which I listed in my poll) by asking "what parking services does best for you?" in terms of revenue/CPC/CTR and template-system.

If you decide to choose more than one option, please reply back in this thread giving a reason. :) I'm sure it will not only help me, but hundreds of other domain owners looking for a good domain parking service that will fit their needs.

So far all I have tried are Sedo and Traffic Parking. Sedo did well, I think (didn't try any other parking service to compare to), with my domain GRSex.com (averaged a good $30-$50 per month). :) Traffic Parking did "alright" with some of my odd gaming domains, but really haven't tried them ever since [because of the low CTR and revenue]. Maybe it was because of the domain traffic [that was very minimal], but who knows? :p

Well...looking forward to frequently checking up on the poll results and reading about everyone's experiences [in one simple thread]! :)

Thank you for your participation!

Fabulous & Domain Sponsor are Great. Name Drive was doing well, but after crunching the numbers during their "Spring Bonus" I'm questioning what they are really up to.

If there is one thing I have learned about domain parking, it's that you have to try different programs and match the traffic to the program.

I use 1Plus with much more success than others on that list. I voted Other therefore.

I'd go for Whypark and Parking Panel. One of the best combos for a complete domain monetizing portfolio.

Isn't working for me. :td:

Correct. It will soon become iModo however. (www.imodo.com)
I don't see a domain parking option/service at 1plus.com :\

Yep figured that out. Liking it so far...will do well for some of my niches. :)
Applied at Parked.com ... got approved 5 minutes after I submitted the application. :D

Will let you know how that works out. Do keep the feedback coming though! :D

For strictly domain parking, Sedopro, Fabulous, Namedrive, Parkingpanel, It depends on the niche, On of those four may do better than the others for certain names, WhyPark is my solution, It isn't domain parking, And you have much more control of what content and ad targeting you want, Not to mention you can advertise your names.

I voted other for DomainSponsor. Slightly lower click through rate than some others, but it has consistently higher cpc. I was very happy with Trafficz until Yahoo changed. Seems like I can never get over $1.00/click with them.

Yes!

But they require atleast 50 domains.

Fabulous & Domain Sponsor are Great.

1plus.net gets my vote! Can't figure out why you would want to park when you can utilize a service like this. PLUS, you get indexed on SE's :xf.love:

Most consistent has been SEDO Pro

SEDO Pro has by far been the most consistent for me.

Active Audience was very good, but something happened and several of my domains went from $40/mo to $4/mo. I sent them an email and never got a response. I was just about to send several hundred of my domains there before that. I currently am still testing them with a few names. Active Audience has some great features that allow for custom photos and logos which make the site look great. Ultimately, my goal is to optimize the landing page so that the end user is directed where he/she wanted to go, and Active Audience delivers a great landing page. Having said that, we all need to make money and it seems as though they are not paying well for the names I have there - but I'm still testing.

Parked has been good for some of my names (business and loans in particular). I wish they paid a little better, but they do give credit for multiple clicks which can make some domains improve drastically. The other strength for Parked is they offer some good custom templates, and they also allow you to edit page properties for better search engine placement - yes they have some pages that come up high in search engines - especially when the domain name has those keywords, etc. I am still checking out some names at Parked to see if they will gain popularity over time since they have page title, description, keywords, etc.

Namedrive has some Awesome looking pages (I especially like the travel ones). Having said that, I am not going to get rich on Namedrive - the payouts for my names have been a little small. WHile I don't have many names there, I have not moved some over as I am a little concerned about the lower payouts. They do have some good looking pages though.

Fabulous has been great for gambling related domains. I only have a couple of hundred names there, but they seem to be more geared to generic domains , and they don't really want the international traffic.

SEDO Pro has been the most consistent for me so far. They pay pretty well, and seem to share a fair amount of the click revenue. Their reporting system is easier to use that the others I've mentioned. Their optimization is the easiest to use. I can go in and change some keywords and photos (or style of page) very quickly. If SEDO Pro had the ability to add more photos, description, title tags, and keywords, they would run away from the pack IMHO.

For now, I have seen that most have had different experiences. I am sure that we all have different styles to our portfolio (some more generic and some more traffic oriented).

I'm not that much of a programmer, so custom pages and mini-sites are not a good option for me (wish it was), so Parking will have to be the main function of my domains.

Good luck getting the info you're looking for. I wish I had all the answers - hope that helps your search.

Regards,

Stan
