Hi I have been going through namebio and have been quite surprised with some of the High value sales in this extension.

Could you please shed some information on this extension .
1.The perceived Value of the Extension
2 .Why would someone pay 5 or 6 figures for this extension .

To the average Joe it is dot com, dot org, dot net perhaps, and dot edu. Dot mobi to most average Joes is just like dot xyz, nop, qrs, tuv, love, democrat, republican, etc; So imo xyz.xyz will be awesome, but love.xyz probably not because next month you will get love.lol . . .

Not that this matters (and this is not a recommendation to buy) - I just ran a small scan numeric scan for .mobi.

look at the dates 2006-2007!

they are a fraction of what they were selling for back then - lost value

There is a numerous post across NP where .mobi was an example of downfall posted by Kate. Also .mobi .me .eu was the "lesson learned" for many investors to avoid heavy spending for the new GTLD, INMO.

To me a lot of those .mobi domain names just don't make sense. Yet, it seems they are being bought and sold, so I suppose someone must like them.
