.mobi getting some deserved attention in the DNJournal newsletter this week:

" While .com took its usual lion's share of the Big Board, .mobi also had a big week claiming 7 positions on the elite all extension list. One of those sales cracked the six-figure mark and was the second highest .mobi sale of the year. Three country code domains also made the chart while .net, .org and .info each claimed one slot.

Among the Global Contenders (.net, .org, .info, .biz, .mobi and .pro), .mobi dominated sweeping the first 8 chart positions. "

Slightly distorted statistics though.... the .mobi sales were of a much higher quality than the other extensions...

Still great news though... keeps interest bubbling & there are plenty of well funded individuals looking at the .mobi market IMHO.

Right now they don't seem to be looking at the right screen: the last one of mTLD's 99 at Sedo has been bid on for more than two hours past the scheduled end of the auction, and is still at:

$7,166 USD (yes, for humor.mobi)!
