The LLL.us that have been dropping lately are sunrise domains - the original 5 year registrations when .US went public.

You are unlikely to ever see drop rates like the last few weeks (and next few weeks) again, unless a big .US holder dies with nobody to take care of their affairs, and even then chances are the registrars will take them
