Boston-based Escom LLC purchased SEX.com for $14 million.

Business.com sold for $7.5 million in 1999.

Those are the two most expensive domains ever sold. Not sure if another domain has sold in private for more, it's possible, but I'm doubtful.

Porn.com - 9.5 Million - highest confirmed sale for a domain name. Sex.com sale has quite a few holes in it with no confirmation.

BTW - Glad to see another Tempe Resident up on NamePros - welcome to the Forum

Yes you are right. Fund.com is #2 but I think something else will replace it soon.

I think the key here is "reported sale". I am sure there have been private unreported sales that are probably much higher than any reported sale.

the pharmacy.com sale was rumoured to be far in excess wasn't it?

again like others have said , vast majority of all sales go unreported

would be crazy to know all sales. can you imagine looking at a list of all domain sales.

can you imagine the real top 100 sales list? :kickass::snaphappy:;)
