"Afternic tells us they also closed the biggest domain sale in company history this week, but the $1.2 million transaction is subject to a non disclosure agreement."

Has anybody a clue what domain name it could be?

Based on the price, we can assume it is a .com and a name of a product/service.

Interesting info about CNET's domain portfolio that i saw in a visitors reply, don't know how accurate this is but check it out:

# SEARCH.COM for $7,000
# DOWNLOAD.COM for $20,000
# TV.COM for $15,000

If i only....*The usual regret speech you always hear*

Cheers Constantin :)

I just found this on Google about download.com and TV.com

"CNET for example, paid $20,000 for download.com and $15,000 for tv.com. cybercafe.com sold for $12,000 "

Can you imagine what these are worth right now !!! D-: back then they were mentioned as a "considerable amount".
