Personally, I like joomla because of it's interactivity. You can do just about anything with it and make it look great at the same time. It's a little on the difficult side to get the way you want it to though if your not advanced with it. The easiest one I've found so far is Xoops. It's basically like Nuke, but incredibaly simple to install. It works great and has a HUGE community which you can find Mods and Themes galour. I would definatley recommend trying Xoops. www.xoops.org www.xoops.org

Joomla is solid, that's for sure.

I personally like Drupal because I believe it to be very secure and stable. I'd recommend at taking a look at both Joomla and Drupal and deciding from those although there are numerous other choices out there.

You can try 'em out at:

No CMS is more powerful than postnuke. And I've used pretty much all of them. It's not the easiest to use, but none of the others can touch it. It's also highly secure and unlike wordpress etc you don't have to keep updating it every two months.

SEO wise it's also top notch. For instance on google the top two results for the competitive 'article directory' are both my websites running on postnuke. One took less than two weeks to get there!

I've been running postnuke websites since early 2003 and now have dozens of active websites on that cms.

If it's ease of use and still powerful - wordpress would be my choice.

try www.cmsmatrix.org for a side by side comparison of all CMS systems of your choice.

I'm using Joomla and while it has a learning curve it does have a lot of free add ons that can make your life a lot easier.

Ye, I agree if I was you I would with Joomla. The mods for Joomla are really good and you can install the script in Fantastico (Cpanel), So it takes seconds!

After having setup Joomla with a multitude of extensions, i can honestly say, it's not all that difficult once you got the idea down of how joomla actually works.
Check the setup out at www.OffroadInsider.com if you like.

The main problem that i can see with joomla are the templates, i am unable to find a really good one without having to pay for some extended membership somewhere...which for one template is out of the question.

I found that wordpress is great for a blog and can be also used as a CMS but has it's limits.
I have been working with Joomla for a while now and so far I have been pretty impressed. It takes some time to figure out how it works thought.
