what is really happening with this domain?

enom whois currently shows a domain status as pendingDelete and it also says "reactivation period" at top of the whois info. The domain does not show up as pending delete at namejet, pool, or snapnames. Nor does it currently show as pre-release at namejet. Yet previously it did show as pre-release on namejet, but it was removed before the "closing time" for the auction (this was more than a week ago).

For kicks today I searched the domain on enom and it showed as available (even though their whois shows pending delete), so I ordered it. But then received an email that the domain was not available.

Why would enom pull a domain from pre-release on namejet, do nothing with it, then show it as pending delete when it really isn't? what is going on?

Yes, it is a .com domain. Yes I understand having the domain name would help. I guess I'm just looking to understand the reasons that the circumstance could be as I've described.

I have recently open it and it is working properly and the options provided of edit and delete can be accessed by the admin only.
