What do you guys think about GEO .ORG?

I'm thinking about buying a few popular GEO .ORG names (specific few on my mind) as investment purposes.

Do you guys think GEO .ORG is a good investment just for the name itself without any dev?

depends on price and the geo. You'd need to provide MUCH more detail.

NYC.org for $100 - yes
PodunkMontana.org for $50,000 - no

Dot com first (obviously), but I have and will in the future continue to develop .org next in the Geo area. I often develop .net second, but the .org extension I think is the 2nd best fit for geo domains (except maybe .tv for a select few).

.org is fine for geos. But stick to country names/large cities.

If I owned a pure country .org I'd develop it while waiting for the right offer, I would'nt expect to get much type in traffic on it.
