Do domains beginning cheap* mean low-cost/budget to americans (in a fun way) or more like low-quality (as in cheapskate)?
In the UK cheap* domains work very well and are popular cheapflights, cheaphotels etc. - but just wondering about in the US?
thanks
:hi:
Cheap in USA could have either meaning.
Cheap = discount
Cheap = lower quality
If you apply cheap to words like Tickets, Hotels, Flights, Cruise ,it will have
the same meaning as in UK.
Cheap applied to a well known brand or service would imply a discount.
If it's an off-brand, it could mean either discounted, lower quality or both.
Cheap Domains referring to new registrations would imply a discount.
Cheap Domains referring to domains for sale in someone's portfolio
could have either meaning.
If the domains are good = discount.
If the domains suck = poor quality (no matter how low the price).
