I just wanted to know cause I'm buying up LLLL.com's and wanted to make sure I was concentrating on the right ones.

I know there are some undesirable letters but if that makes the LLLL pronounceable then thats better then just a LLLL that is not pronounceable correct?

anyway could someone list a few of the parameters when searching for LLLL.com's or at least a list of comparisons and what is better?

Thanks,

To me, pronouceable is a first criteria, followed closely by (or equally) meaningful.. but keep in mind that if you're developing, you can make nearly anything work if yer willing to take the time and brand it.

I'd cascade it in the following order
1) Dictionary word
2) Pronounceable (CVCV, CVVC)
3) Combination of Premium Letters (No Q, X, Y, Z, V, W, U, J, K)

Oh! and I thought UniX.com and imaX.com had a nice ring to them... :) j/k

"Bad Letters" only make sense in the context of ACRONYMS...

Oh yes, there are always few exceptions you know!

#2 is CVCV about the same as VCVC's in valuation?

Thanks,

I like VCVC's too, and I do not consider U as a non premium letter. But this is me as I see others who do. Anyway it is a commonly used letter in the alphabet (though it is the least valuable vowel).

Someone I know has JZAZ.COM
It is supposed to be a spin on JAZZ.

How does that fit into the evaluation criteria... or is it not a good one?

It's exactly the same, except a fashion label (French Connection UK) hasn't adopted as their slogan and placed it on all their clothing. There is always hope!

Interesting thread. I added CVCV search to my domain name aggregation site, but I didn't weigh the letters just straigh cvcv

http://dopedomains.com/show/CVCV

I'm going to have to add cvvc, and the option in include/exclude (or weigh) character values. if anyone finds that list interesting/useful, and would like to give input on what search criteria would be helpful, I would love your input.

[EDIT: I just added CVVC and VCVC based on this thread:
